The Cast: The Pets

After yesterday's adventures I am a little sunburnt, and I am tired. Truthfully, I am struggling to think of any new content. I have half thought out posts I could finish but it's going to require a bit more work than I can muster so today I'd like to take a little time to make a blurb about the animals in my home.

Cora, our cat. She is a tortoise shell kitty. When we first got her she hated us so much. She would hide 99.95% of the time. One day she snuggled up to Kyle on the couch and ever since she's been our sweet petite little princess.
She is a diva. The tortie attitude is definitely a thing. She is a strong-willed, fiesty, independent little love. Sometimes she's more of a terror. She does not like being able to see the bottom of her food bowl (even if there is still plenty of food in the bowl) she goes into overdramatics. Every night she cuddles Kyle and I. (Both dogs are terrified of her both dogs are bigger than her.)

Ryker, my first boy. Growing up I had only ever had female dogs. When we decided we were going to adopt I was obsessing on the PetFinder website and had multiple dogs I went into the shelter to see, specifically. There was no connection. Ryker was the only one not barking, he greeted me at the cage, and he was just so sweet. We left the shelter without him. He was too young, he would be too much work.
I couldn't get him out of my head, so Kyle picked him up and we fostered him. Day 1 I told Kyle that this dog was ours forever.
He was trying. Poor guy has allergies to so much. He can destroy any dog toy known to man (horse toys included). He loves to sit on your lap to cuddle (he's about 95 pounds and all elbows.) He loves so much. He's particular. He hates going outside in the rain, he doesn't like getting his feet wet.

Buck, my second boy. A contact of mine was looking to rehome a pup because her daughter and husband realized they were in a little over their head with 2 children under the age of 1, second story apartment, and a puppy. Buck is laid back about getting his feet. He will roll in god knows what and not even be phased. He is easily excitable. I call him a "wiggle bum" because when he is excited he shakes his booty. He is so affectionate. He could just snuggle while being pet. He is a ball of energy.

What kind of pets do you have? What are their names? I'd love to see pictures!

Xoxo, T
