I know a lot of people think looks and appearance are the most important things in a relationship, but I don’t agree.
What I feel is the most important is:
Trust.
Honesty.
Respect.
Communication.
Partnership.
Independence.
Loyalty.
Happiness.
Compromise.
Security.
If you are trying to plant a garden and the location is equivalent to appearance, and sunlight and water is the equivalent to all the things that are important for a relationship to thrive, you may have the most beautiful spot for the garden to grow, it doesn’t mean the spot is perfect. The soil could be bad, maybe it doesn’t get the sunlight or water it needs there.
I also think for some couples it just happens, the spot they want the garden to grow naturally has everything they need to have a beautiful garden. For others its work, they have to want to make it work.
What do you think? What do you think is most important in a relationship?
