Fashion Friday: Men's Printed Button Down with Shorts

I am dipping my foot in the waters of trying my Fashion Friday with a men's look for big and tall men.
My husband and I have been talking about men's style and how difficult it is to find nice looks that fit.

I chose inspiration that would be a cohesive look with the women's Fashion Friday from earlier.

Fashion Friday: Midi Skirt with a Graphic Tee

Happy Friday y'all!
It has been the world's longest week for me.
Back in December before my trip to the Dominican Republic I went in to see what immunizations I needed to travel to the Dominican.
Long story short I was missing a vaccine that wasn't required when I was a kid and is required now. Flash forward to Tuesday, I had a final booster for that series.
I got some rough side effects from the booster. Dizziness, headaches, upset stomach, fatigue, and sore throat. I actually thought I was getting a cold bug of some kind. I am hopinh that it all has subsided.

The other main reason it's been a long werk is one of my coworker's is moving to Florida.
She and I worked together years ago. She has great work ethic, and I actually was her reference for the job she has now, so we go back years.
Everyone is so excited for her new adventure but so sad because we're going to miss her so much. Today is probably going to be pretty heavy.

Which is why today I am doing a look thats comfy and chic and light.
I found this inspiration on Pinterest. The image provides no link to credit anywhere. I don't own this image. Hopefully I'll find the original websiye for this to be able to credit it.

Five of My Personal Style Inspirations

I live in the middle of no where in Michigan. We have have strip malls with a shoe store, an outdoorsy store, a walmart, and a discount retailer.
Jeff Foxworthy once said "you might be a redneck if your dairy queen is closer September through May." While I don't consider everyone who lives in my area a redneck but it's definitely a small town.
I take a lot of my fashion inspiration from TV and movies.

Tattoos and their inspiration.

I am going to tell you about my tattoos and what they mean to me.

My very first tattoo I got when I was like 19 with my friends as my support. I got the outline of a star, very basic style. It's located on the top of my foot about an inch up and half an inch over from my pinky toe. I have always loved stars. I love when it's dark out and you can just stare up at the stars.
This is my least favorite tattoo now. I wanted a tattoo so bad I didn't really think through the concept. It's just so boring and now everyone has a star tattoo on their feet. I like it but I wish I would have made it a constellation instead of a symbol.

My second tattoo was along my hairline/sort of on my neck. It says "La Vita e Bella" which is Italian for life is beautiful. I chose it for my grandmother. I am named after her, she passed away before my parents were married. She was a very loving and sassy Italian woman. For me it's like having her advice just behind my ear to remind me to stop and smell the roses.

Be a warrior, not a worrier: tips for managing stress

I have been so very busy lately. With day trips, vet visits, doctors appointments, visiting family, lunch with my mom, having out with friends, lack of sleep, weddings, etc... I feel like I am a bit burnt out.
I am absolutely struggling this morning with coming up with a worthy post. I decided todays post is going to be about stress management and how to relax.

Wedding Planning on a Budget: Tips and Tricks

Hey guys. I have so many friends and family in the thick of wedding planning. My husband and I have been asked a few times about costs, where to cut costs, where to splurge, etc.

Average cost of weddings in the United States is about $33,000.00 per wedding. 74% of couples end up taking on some form of debt from the wedding. We did not use any loans or credit cards to pay for our wedding.

5 Countries I'd most like to visit

Happy Father's Day!
Growing up my dad always loved to travel.
At the age of 10 we went to Scotland because that is where my ancestors are from. We dis the tourist thing, checked out castles and Highland Games. We attended our clan's Annual General Meeting and met the Chief of our clan. I even got to attend a ball and a hog roast. I was so super excited about the Ball, because it's like every little girl's dream.
On the same trip we visited friends in Germany. They had a cabin in the Black Forrest. It was wonderful and magical.

Ever since I have always loved other countries and cultures.

These are 5 Countries that I would most like to Travel.
