One of my favorite things I can remember from my childhood was cooking and baking with my mom. She had the end cupboard just for her cookbooks and recipes. I remember she had this really great wooden recipe card box. I don't even know if she still has it, but as I am growing up I think I want my own recipe card box. If I have a daughter maybe I'll buy one and put her favorite recipes in there for when she gets married, moves out, etc, etc
Or perhaps I will have to do two recipe card boxes for my two nieces when they move out, get married, etc, etc. With a note that says "If Aunt Resa can make this, you totally hot this."

I am slowly getting into cooking and creating or finding recipes. Previously I would just throw stuff together with no record of what I did. I stumbled upon results my husband and I loved. So we have them jumbled down on note paper but I do want to switch to a real recipe card box.
