Hello my friends, it has been far far too long and I sincerely apologize for my absence.

Motherhood has been an adventure that I simply was overwhelmed by. Everything is so lonely, exhilarating, wonderful, terrifying and joyous all at the exact same time.

I can tell you for certain I won't be posting as much fashion related content as before but I still intend to try to keep that in my repertoire but as a parent there are so many things I want to share and hear about your experiences.

As a plus size mother I felt at an absolute disadvantage for any kind of baby carrier that fits comfortably. We got the Infantimo Go Forward Evolved Ergonomic Carrier. I read the reviews and it seemed like it would be a great fit, it extended big enough to fit my hips and chest. However, being that I am 5'3 and plus size it does fit strange for me. It also rubs the back of my arms. I've never worn it long enough to establish a major opinion on this carrier. My husband can wear it well without the issues I have but for reference he is 6'4.

My recommendation: if you are shorter and curvier I suggest you find something else.

What I did find that I loved was my Moby Wrap Classic. I actually found it second hand and thought I'd give it a try. I was hesitant on using a piece of fabric to support my delicate bundle of joy however I found that it was much more supportive that I imagined. It made me feel very tranquil and at one with my baby. I felt like we got to bond so much more when I carried her with my Moby Wrap. It fit around me comfortably with fabric to spare. Since I liked it so much I got an off brand baby wrap to have a back up and tying it was unpleasant because it just wrapped around enough to tie.  I really enjoy that both my husband and I could use this wrap and it fits both of our different builds comfortably.

I highly recommend the Moby Wrap.

Did you have any baby carriers that you loved or hated? I'd love to hear from you.  curvydaydreamer@gmail.com
