Happy Father's Day!
Growing up my dad always loved to travel.
At the age of 10 we went to Scotland because that is where my ancestors are from. We dis the tourist thing, checked out castles and Highland Games. We attended our clan's Annual General Meeting and met the Chief of our clan. I even got to attend a ball and a hog roast. I was so super excited about the Ball, because it's like every little girl's dream.
On the same trip we visited friends in Germany. They had a cabin in the Black Forrest. It was wonderful and magical.
Ever since I have always loved other countries and cultures.
These are 5 Countries that I would most like to Travel.
5. Australia:
Sydney Opera House
Uluru
Kangaroos
My cousin traveled to Australia and she loved it. It seems like the coolest and most chill place ever. Although I am pretty sure every creature from Australia can and will try to kill you I am not shying away from it. (Although I have heard the spiders there are ridiculous.) Perhaps this is why all Australians are natural badasses.
4. Spain:
Crystal Palace
Passage at Jarden de Monforte
Seville
There are Cathedrials, Mosques, beaches, festivals, an Egyptian temple and Roman ruins what more motivation do you need?
3.Greece:
Santorini
Parthenon
Molyvos village in Lesvos, Greece
Greece is just so full of history and beauty. I love history. It's the cradle of Western Civilization! I am also a HUGE fan of Mama Mia and it totally made me fangirl over how romantic and fascinating it is.
2. France:
The Locks of Love Bridge
The Eiffel Tower
Saint-Paul-de-Vence
I just picture being at a really adorable cafe drinking tea or coffee with my husband eating macaroons. We woukd need to listen to the bells of Notre Dame and have to check out the Louvre. (Note to self: must get a bomb shade of red lipstick for this journey.)
1. Scotland:
Fairy Pools of Scotland
The Wee Shop, The Royal Mile
Glenfinnan Viaduct
I would love to go back with Kyle because there is so much he would love and I want him to experience it all.
What about you? What do you think? Where would you most like to travel outside the USA? Leave a comment!
Xoxo, T
